COURSE GOALS:
To compare and contrast major schools of learning theory;
To provide a basis for evaluating the effectiveness of learning strategies;
To promote informed reflective instructional practices;
To examine explicit and implicit biases in the work of learning theorists;
To consider the role of learning theories in the development and implementation of your personal philosophy of and beliefs about the educational process.
