Ovid trans. A. D. Melville, Metamorphoses. New York: Oxford University Press, 1998. ISBN 0-19-283472-X.

In addition, I strongly recommend that each student have access to a copy of Homer’s Odyssey. Many translations are available; I will be using the version by Stanley Lombardo (Indianapolis: Hackett Publishing, 2000, ISBN 0-872204-85-5).
