The Monmouth Pipe Band is the most visible of all the symbols of Monmouth College's Scottish heritage.

The bagpipe and drum band performs at many college functions and off-campus events and currently has a membership of 15 students, a number of whom compete in major competitions.

In addition, the college offers talent scholarships for pipers.
