Requirements
• The minor requires 18 hours from approved courses in at least 3
academic disciplines
• 3 of the 18 hours will be an upper division, interdisciplinary
capstone course with a relevant interdisciplinary assignment and program
portfolio. Initially this course will be taught as a special topics
course within a major (rotated among departments) that departmental
majors and minors can also take.
• Students may count no more than 6 hours from one discipline for the
minor; students may negotiate with the program coordinator to count
multi-disciplinary courses into one of a number of possible disciplines
(i.e., 19th-Century Arts & Letters might count as an English, Art,
or Music course depending on the syllabus).
