When not teaching at Monmouth
College, Professor Cates consults to business managers about strategy
development and human resources management. A certified mediator through
the Center for Conflict Resolution (founded by the Chicago Bar
Association), Professor Cates uses mediation and facilitation techniques
to assist executives in the strategic planning process and to consult to
task forces. She also teaches in executive education courses at the
Kellogg School of Management and other organizations in the areas of
organizational development, negotiations, strategic planning, human
resources management, and related topics. Businesses served range from
multi-national corporations to local not-for-profit associations.

University of Illinois, where he won a teaching award, Professor
Haryanto brings a wealth of real-world experiences into the classroom.
He was a former American Express executive in Asia and a founder of his
private consulting firm in Indonesia. He also taught Financial Policy &
Strategy in the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Prasetiya Mulya
Graduate School of Management in Jakarta.
