Hello and
welcome to my electronic portfolio. I am currently a senior communications major at
Monmouth College
a small liberal arts college located in Monmouth, Illinois. I was born
and raised in Belvidere, IL. I love Monmouth College because
of the size of the campus. In the Spring of 2006 I studied abroad in Paris,
France at the
ESCGI School of Management. I took classes that relate both to the
business and communication world. I also studied French
there so I was able to broaden my communication abilities and
understanding of another culture.
I have participated in several extra curricular activities
on campus. I had the wonderful opportunity of being part of
the first marching band on campus while participating in
flags. I have also been involved in the Monmouth College
Choral program for three years. I was a member of the debate
team my freshman year and I traveled to Colorado Springs,
Colorado for a major debate tournament. I am also an active
member of Circle K International. I was inducted into Lambda
Pi Eta, Communication Honor Society, Blue Key, and Mortar
Board.
This profile provides an
opportunity for me to share what I have gained from my
college experience. The Independent study page showcases my
interest in the communication field and is a stepping stone
to the future. In the study abroad section I reflect on my
experience in France. The objective page provides examples
of my work and reflections on the skills I have gained in my
study of communication. The resume page outlines my
experience and involvement on campus and in the community. I
hope that your visit helps you to get to know me and where I
see myself in the future.
Thank you for visiting my site!
