My name is Alissa Diffenderfer. Currently I am a junior at Monmouth College, where I am a double major in Communication and Theater Arts with an emphasis in Media and Public Relations. During my time spent at Monmouth I have been involved in many things. I am a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority in which I have held many positions. I am currently serving on the executive board as Vice President of Communications. Also, I am a Lead Orientation Leader for new students, President of the Monmouth Cinema Appreciation Society, a delegate for the Associated Students of Monmouth College, a member of the Panhellenic Conference, and I am trying to get a women's or co-ed lacrosse team off the ground. Over the past three years I have developed many leadership skills and enriched my experiences at Monmouth College. I plan to graduate in May of 2009. I'm not sure what profession I want to go into after that but I am currently looking for internships to provide insight and inspiration to ultimately influence my decision.
