Welcome!

My name is Danellia Connell and this is my Electronic, web-based portfolio.  This is a website to help showcase who I am and what I am capable.  It introduces you to what I am involved with and my skills I have learned through this.  This website, especially the Objectives page, is constructed within the guidelines of the Communication and Theater Arts department of Monmouth College, a four-year liberal arts college in Monmouth, IL.

I am currently a senior Communication and Theater Arts major at Monmouth College.  I have been a resident of Monmouth, IL for most of my life and was a member of the first graduating class of United High School in 2005.  I have lived on campus in Fulton Hall, one of our campus' dormitories, for all four years. Since begining my time at monmouth college, I have been involved in extracurricular activities both on and off the Monmouth College Campus.  I love being a leader and have always been happiest when I am in a meeting or event. 

I have fervently loved books since before I can remember, which lead to my employment with Borders for almost two and a half years until the closing of my local Waldenbooks.  I have been a fan of anime and manga since I was young.  Theater has always had an important role in my world since my first acting workshop when I was seven, but I fell in love with technical theater work after my first show here at Monmouth College. I love to cross-stitch and hang out with friends.  I have fantastic parents, a great younger brother, four eccentric cats, and a loving miniature sheltie.
