While attending Monmouth College during my junior and senior year, I become interested in media writing with the AP-style format. I am currently the sports editor of the Monmouth College Courier and I have been writing articles for the Courier since Fall 2007 during my junior year.

I have included below a few of my layout structures as a sports editor. As the sports editor, I am in charge of writing four to five sport articles a week, interviewing athletes and coaches on the Monmouth College campus, and designing the layout structure using the Adobe InDesign CS2 program in the student publications room of the Stockdale Center.
