Throughout my life, I have always wanted to excel in areas where I am comfortable and can interact well with others in a sense of having fun and staying active. I have quickly learned the true value of trust, leadership, and responsibility in my twenty-two years living on planet Earth. My mother, Laura used to tell me, "Treat others the way you want to be treated." This phrase stood out in my mind for many years throughout my short life. I have taken my mother's advice and I am not only learning the "golden rule," I am passing that statement on to others of all ages.

I want to be happy and I want to be able to work where the money is. Even if that means I have a long academic journey ahead of me. I am looking forward to graduating from Monmouth College and I will completing an internship at the Westmont Park District as well as continuing to search in the field of journalism and media. I will run into many obstacles down the road, but I will remember the words of my mother, I will always have a positive outlook on life and I will maintain a positive mental and physical attitude in the process. I am also hoping to someday change the world through my experience with changing the Monmouth College campus "green," through means of recycling facilities.

Short Term Goals:

1.) Receive my Bachelor of Arts degree in both communication/theater arts and physical education.

2.) Complete my internship for physical education at the Warren County YMCA. Complete my internship for communication/theater arts at the Westmont Park District.

3.) Finish my academic career at Monmouth College with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

4.) Graduate from Monmouth College with an understanding and appreciation of communication and media as well as organization and administration in the physical education field with basic knowledge of sport fitness.

Long Term Goals:

1.) Use the skills and abilities I learned at Monmouth College to pursuit my career lifestyle.

2.) Become affiliated with sport management and someday become an athletic director as a second job.

3.) I want to live in Clarendon Hills for a while before I move out and start a family.

4.) Attend graduate school to become acquainted with other aspects of the communication and media field.
