--Communication/Theater Arts Internship--

I am currently scheduled to complete my internship in the Summer of 2009 at the Westmont Park District.  I will be working with the youth on special events called, "Holly Days."  Events such as "Haunted Forest Tour" and "Holly Days Food Drive."  I will also be working on a new program called "Polar Express," where we will board a train to Aurora depot and will have a chance to take the youth to see Santa.  There is a lot more information I will be able to post as soon as I have my meeting with the district on October 12, 2008.  So for now, this page is currently "under construction."

--Physical Education Internship--

--Daily Journal for YMCA Internship--

From August 2008 to December 2008, I worked at the Warren County YMCA as a part for my Physical Education major. I am currently enrolled in PHED 450: Problems in Physical Education, where I am to complete one-hundred and fifty hours of non-paid service. I work every Monday; 2:00-6:00 p.m., Tuesday; 3:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and one Sunday a month from 1:00-5:00 p.m. It is a great pleasure to be working with the local YMCA because there are many duties to fulfill as I make organization and administration possible through means of sports.

I do a lot of work ranging from paperwork, various sport practices with children of all ages including: flag football, soccer, basketball, and field games. I am called upon by Tom Glenn, program director to help maintain daily work load for him. I am currently in the process of completing my one-hundred and fifty hours so again, consider this currently "under construction."

Below is a hyperlinked copy of my daily journal I kept during my experience while interning at the Warren County YMCA.
