Welcome to my site!
This site is being created for my Middle School
Curriculum class. Right now we are creating web
profiles for future personal us. Within this site, you will
find my conceptual framework, my contact information, my
philosophy, some resources that I use, and my resume.
I will be certified to teach both middle school
and high school. My major is history. I chose to
become a history major during my senior year in high school.
I had a wonderful teacher, Mr. Walker, who showed me that there
was more to history than what the textbook could provide.
Since then, I have developed my knowledge of many historical
events.
By attending Monmouth College, I have gained not
only a major and education certificates, but also a well-rounded
learning experience. Being a liberal-arts college, Monmouth
has offered me much more than a state university could have.
Along with being a history major, I have taken a class in
economics, several art/music classes, participated in science and
math labs, and developed both my writing and speaking skills as a
result of communications classes.
I would also like to become a coach when I start
teaching. I would love to coach high school soccer. I
have played soccer almost my entire life and feel that athletics
greatly enhance a student's well-being.
