Every student deserves the right to be actively involved in the classroom at every moment everyday.  

As a teacher, I want each child to be afforded the opportunity to learn.  Each child must be challenged in all subjects, especially the core subjects.  I will act as a guide and mentor so my students may discover the core subject knowledge. They will be asked to commit this knowledge to permanent memory.  To do this they will be asked to use in information.

As a teacher, I want each student to grow in body, mind, and heart.  Interpersonal relationship skills are necessary for a student to become a well-rounded member of the community.  I will enhance each child’s self image and self worth. 

As a teacher, I will respect all the partners in learning, including students, parents, peers and administration.  Each of these groups has an important role in the educational process.
