HEAD COACH: Kelly Kane, 15th year Phone 309-457-2174 / E-mail: kellyk@monm.edu KELLY KANE has guided the Monmouth College football program since the fall of 1984. Kane, a 1970 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, began the 1998 season -- his 15th year at Monmouth -- with a career win-loss record of 67-62 (.519). He currently ranks third on the all-time Monmouth coaching list for both victories and winning percentage. His teams won Midwest Conference Southern Division championships and played in the MWC title game in 1987, 1988 and 1989. Kane came to Monmouth College after high school coaching stops at Galesburg, Spring Valley Hall and Flanagan. In addition to his football coaching duties, he also serves as a full-time faculty member in the physical education department MONMOUTH-KNOX SERIES MC-Knox: "The Battle for the Bronze Turkey" |
