Monmouth could not catch defending champion Grinnell or first-time winner Carroll but defeated the rest of the league for its third consecutive top-three team finish. Junior Carrie Knauer earned her second All-Conference medal by placing 13th on the hilly, rolling 5000-meter course at Carroll (Waukesha, WI). Freshman Ann Moody was the squad's second finisher in 19^th place as the Scots' top eight runners were all underclassmen.
