VITA

            MC student volunteers will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Room 308 of the McMichael Academic Hall. Volunteers will also be available on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. at the Warren County Library. This program will start Feb. 5, and will run through Apr. 12.

MC Pipe Band

            On Mar. 29, the MC Pipe Band will be performing at the First Presbyterian Church in Burlington,  Iowa. The show is free to the public, and will start at 7 p.m.

Bingo Night

            Today, Mar. 28, ASAP will be hosting Bingo Night. It starts at 8 p.m. in the Underground, and all students are encouraged to attend.

McMullen Lecture

            John Widom, chair of the department of biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology at Northwestern University, will present the annual Donald B. McMullen Memorial Lecture in Biology at Monmouth College on Apr. 1 at 11 a.m. in the Dahl Chapel and Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Rosanna Graham Webster Award

            Students interested in applying should submit thirty pages of prose or fifteen poems to Dr. Craig Watson of the English Department by Apr. 1, 2003. Winners of the $1000 award will be announced at the Honors Convocation.

Senior Art Exhibit

            Roy Callaway, Dustin Scott,  and Matthew Mabee will all be featured artists. Today, Mar. 28 at 6 p.m., there will be a reception, open to the public, for the artists. The gallery is open during regular library hours: Sunday, 1 p.m. to midnight; Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to midnight; Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
