Letters of recommendation are simply a letter of reference written by an
alumna of a sorority to her sorority’s chapter at
Monmouth College. Monmouth College does
not have a generic form to be completed. Many local Alumnae
Panhellenic Associations will provide forms to women, as will the national
sorority headquarters.
Let women in
your family, your friends, and people in the community (high school
teachers, youth group leaders, etc.) know that you are participating in
sorority recruitment. Often these women will be interested in writing a
letter of recommendation for you.
Letters of
recommendation should be mailed by the Alumna writing the recommendation
directly to the Office of Greek Life, Leadership and
Involvement, Monmouth
College, 700 E. Broadway, Monmouth, IL 61462.
