Bowers, Liedman,
Winbigler, Fulton, McMichael, North Hall, The
New Residence Hall, Founders Village, the Fraternity Complex and the
Theme Houses have twenty four hour visitation privileges. Residents
of Cleland, Graham, and Grier residence halls will decide on the visitation times they wish to
maintain, with the understanding that visitation privileges may extend to no more than sixteen
hours during the week and eighteen hours during the weekend. Further, the visitation hours in
Cleland, Graham, Grier, and residence halls may not extend past 2:00 a.m. or
regular closing hours. One lounge area in each hall may be designated a 24 hour visitation
area.
All
residence halls, fraternity houses,
and theme houses are locked twenty-four hours
a day, seven days a week. A student is responsible for seeing to it that a door is secured behind him/her after
entering. Academic buildings are locked at 7:00 p.m. during the week and are locked 24 hours
on the weekends. An exception would be made for campus weekend activities such as
Orientation, Homecoming, etc.
Open hours for the Hewes
Library, Stockdale Center and Huff Athletic Center are as follows:
Hewes Library
Monday - Thursday 8am to midnight
Friday 8am to 10pm
Saturday 9am to 7pm
Sunday 1pm to midnight
Stockdale Center
7:30 a.m. to 12:00 midnight seven days a week
Huff Athletic Center
Monday - Thursday from 6am to 11pm
Friday 6am to 7pm
Saturday noon to 4 pm
Sunday noon to 10 pm
Individuals may have access to these buildings during
hours when the buildings are locked if they are employed by the College and in possession of
keys which permit access or the individual has received permission from an employee of the
College to use a specific work/study area.
During the hours of
7:00
pm and 8:00 am the security
officer on duty makes routine rounds to check for doors that might be ajar and secures them. |
