In the interest of personal and Physical
Plant safety, refrigerators should not exceed 4.0 cubic feet. Sun lamps,
ovens, and hot plates should be used only in public areas. Microwaves are
permitted in individual rooms with the approval of the Office of Student
Affairs.
Halogen lamps are prohibited and
students found in possession of a halogen lamp will be fined $100.
Further, ceiling fans, dimmer switches,
mini blinds and any other electrical, plumbing, or mechanical devices not
already installed by the College are not permitted.
Any appliances and devices found in
student rooms that are prohibited by the College will be removed by the
staff at the student’s expense.
