Fire Safety
2008-2009
Residence hall staff
will conduct fire drills on a scheduled basis each year.
Residents are
required to cooperate and participate fully in such drills
and vacate the building.
Fire-fighting
equipment must be present and operational at all times in College
buildings.
Individuals are subject to disciplinary action including fines, social probation, suspension or dismissal as well as prosectution by local law enforcement authorities for not vacating a building, not cooperating with personnel or tampering with firefighting equipment or fire alarms.
The burning of
candles and incense is prohibited.
