Summary of What Was Discussed / Work Done:

Thursday, Oct 18 the team met at 8:30 p.m. to make corrections on the product demonstration paper.

We felt it was necessary to make these corrections as soon as possible since it will be used in our final program.  We added the correct form of citations to certain parts of the paper and added How to Get to Yes to the bibliography.  We gave more concrete examples in section A. Overview of negotiating in paragraph three showing how negotiating skills are a must for communicating effectively with peers, etc.  We also neglected the first time to explain why we are developing the training program for women in the same section.  In section B. Evidence/support we added a clear conclusion to the end of the section explaining how our trainees will earn their money back in their job.  We also fixed up some of the objectives by explaining BATNA and how it works, and we also rephrased the personal strengths.  However, due to time we were unable to work on the program outline.

Assignments for Future Work / Deadlines:

Our next meeting we will finish the corrections on the paper and have the professor look over the material in order to assure we are on the right path.  We will also begin brainstorming ideas to develop the rest of the program.

Our Assessment of Team Work and Task Progress (Strengths and Weaknesses):

The teams’ strengths are as follows:  each individual member continues to work well with one another by listening to each other’s needs, ideas.    Each member is still taking her job seriously.  We believe there is a certain level of trust that has been established in our team, which makes working together pleasant.

Our weaknesses are as follows: trying to get so much work done in one night.
