            By the end of the Sex Panther training program trainees will…

 

1.)    Demonstrate expertise in conflict management.

a.) Assertiveness training

            i. Recognition and expression of personal needs.

            ii. Recognition and expression of other’s needs.

            iii. Setting boundaries and limitations with others.

                                    b.) Situational Training

                                                i. Assessment and evaluation of situations.

                                                ii. Choosing effective approaches.

                                                iii. Implementing effective strategies.

                                    c.) Coach/Coach, Player/Coach, Player/Player   

                                                i. Assessing status levels.

                                                ii. Recognizing and implementing appropriate dialogue.

                                                iii. Establishing and exercising open communication;

                                                      providing effective feedback.

      2.)  Overcome Communication Barriers

                                    a.) Identify communication barriers.

                                    b.) Recognize miscommunication and confusing messages.

                                    c.) Utilize methods to overcome communication barriers/              

                                         disconnects.

      3.)  Create and Implement Team Policies and Procedures

                                    a.) Demonstrate precise understandings of team goals and

                                         objectives.

                                    b.) Develop effective and ethical means of achieving team goals.

                                    c.) Create practical guidelines for implementing team Policies and

                                         Procedures.

      4.)  Develop Team Unity

                                    a.) Develop ability to work with diverse people and personalities.

                                    b.) Create a climate of coaching conducive to all team members.

                                    c.) Implement a practical coaching framework providing

                                         productive conversations.

      5.)  Integrate Accountability

                                    a.) Establish credibility/integrity through consistency in

                                         professional conduct.

                                    b.) Create a climate of mutual dignity and respect for team

                                         members.

                                    c.) Encourage and reward team members for carrying out their

                                         responsibilities.

      6.)  Conduct Effective Team Meetings

                                    a.) Keep discussion “on target.”

                                    b.) See to it that everyone gets heard and that people’s needs are

                                         met.

                                    c.) State agendas prior to meetings

      7.)  Effectively Plan

                                    a.) Design planning to accomplish desired goals/objectives

                                    b.) Maintain Focus

                                    c.) Invite input and feedback from all team members and resources.

      8.)  Demonstrate Decision Making Skills

                                    a.) Consider all available and appropriate information.

                                    b.) Complete thorough research from all available resources.

                                    c.) Reason wisely, come to a decision in a timely fashion and

                                         uphold that decision.
