Team 2 – Effective Oral Presentations

CLIENT TRAINEE PROFILE

·         Our initial target would be colleges looking to offer a training program for college students, ages 18-25, who are looking to enhance their oral presentation skills while preparing to enter the job market, specifically in the public relations department.

·         Colleges would be paying for this training program for their own students.

·         The trainees are students learning efficient oral presentation techniques while preparing for the jobs that will require great presenting skills in the public relations field.

·         The education level of the trainees will be college students, freshman thru senior year. All of our trainees have some previous experience with oral presentations, but this training will specifically relate to professional techniques to be used in their future career fields.

·         Being college students, we are assuming their skills are basic in oral presentations, and we are looking to enhance their knowledge. We assume that all trainees have taken a basic speech or communication class in their public relations major.

·         The ages will be 18-25, and the trainees will be of mixed races and genders.

·         Public Relation majors will eventually try and obtain a career that will be require a lot of oral presentations. Other majors that do not require a lot of oral presentations will be recommended, but not required and do not fall under our target training group. Since the public relations market is so competitive, this will be the motivation for trainees.
