Team Work Contract

In signing the contract below, each individual team member agrees to the stipulations and guidelines herein. The contract shall be binding from the date of signing through the end of the fall semester of 2003.

1. Autumn will be the contact person for the team. Her duties will include: turning in weekly reports to Professor McGaan and distributing information to other team members, Katie, Lela, and Laura.

2. The team will meet at least once per week outside of class and lab time in order to discuss the progress of the class project at hand.

3. The team will set aside a portion of time at the end of each meeting to discuss the successes and grievances of individual members and the team as a whole. After analyzing strengths and weaknesses, the team will devise an appropriate strategy for making the most of identified strengths and remedying weaknesses.

4. If a team member must miss a team meeting, she will notify other team members of the reason for her absence as early as possible, but no later than 2 hours before the meeting time. She will report through email or phone on the progress of her duties on the project. If it is vital that all three members are present at the meeting, the meeting shall be rescheduled to a more suitable time.

5. If a member forgets to attend a meeting and does not notify the team of her absence, the other team members will attempt to contact the missing member by phone. If no contact is successful, the other team members will continue the meeting if possible. An email will be sent to the missing team member informing her of what was discussed in the meeting and which duties she is expected o complete by a set date.

6. If a member has more than 1 unexcused absence from group meetings outside of class, they will be reprimanded by other members. If the problem persists, the contact person (Autumn) will approach Dr. McGaan and Chet.
