1.  Who? 

We have developed a training program that could essentially be used in various environments to improve problem solving techniques.  However, team C. H. E. T.  has developed this program specifically for Human Resource representatives in the retail industry. This includes those people working in the corporate offices as well as those who work in the retail stores.  These people all communicate within groups as well as have to solve problems every day.  The customers will therefore benefit as well.  Although this program is aimed to specifically assist Human resource representatives, the benefits will be evident throughout the organization. 

 

2. What?

            The content of our program begins with an overview of general communication skills and evolves into problem solving techniques.  This training program will focus on the defining problems, techniques to solve problems, analyzing the solutions and evaluating the process.  Our program will also touch on aspects of communication such as task, maintenance and self-centered roles that may contribute to or hinder a groups’ problem solving ability. 

 

3. Where?

            We are interested in marketing this program to business organizations in the retail industry.  Prior to the program we will meet with company executives and a member of the Human Resource department to recognize how our training program can be altered to suit their company’s needs in.  However the retail industry is not the only organization that could benefit from this.  We could also branch out to:  automobile industries, schools, PR firms, as well as many others.
