Summary of What Was Discussed / Work Done:

Today we discussed what our overall training program was going to entail. We started to work on our outline which involved coming up with ideas about what we want to go over with the freshman students. We also talked about how the training program will be organized as well as how many students will be attending the sessions (2 ILA classes put together). We also made an outline with bullets explaining how and why there is an importance for the students to get something out of this training program.

Assignments for Future Work / Deadlines:

Today we did not finish our outline that is due on Friday. We only got to 1A. So by Friday our group needs to finish 1B, 2A, and 2B in the outline. We tried to come up with a time that we could all meet outside of class until Friday, but nothing seemed to work for everyone. So we split it up some of the sections (Scott has 2B etc.) Then each member is going to email their part to the whole group for questions and comments. We also need to come up with the surveys and interviews by next Tuesday’s lab and we also need to talk to Chet to arrange a time to meet with him within this next week.

Our Assessment of Our Teamwork and Task Progress (Strengths and Weaknesses):

I think our team’s biggest weakness is that our schedules are so conflicting that if we really need to find a time to meet outside of lab it would almost be impossible to get all 5 members to show up. I guess we will just have to see how this week goes with how well the work gets done and also how well it fits together before we make any changes.
