Summary of
What Was Discussed / Work Done: The first time the group has met, some considerable accomplishments
have been established throughout the rest of the group. As a group, we have
decided to pick the topic of Group Communication. After finally narrowing our
general topic of Group Communication, we made the topic more specific and are
now doing Effective Decision-Making inside a group setting. After finalizing
the specific topic we are doing, we as a group discussed our own experiences
with being involved in a group setting. This made the group feel more
comfortable and give us more of a head start on what to necessarily look for
when proceeding into the project. The
second time we met, we had to write and come up with a Team Work Contract. This
involved such information as the various conditions and procedures the team
will implement, will there be a team leader, and how to handle disagreements
inside the workplace. We also had to come up with a Client Profile, which
focused on the specific trainees who will be delivering the program. Assignments
for Future Work / Deadlines: The next time we meet as a group, we all want to perhaps start on
finding information for the specific training program we have chosen and come
to class with an idea of an outline for a first pitch to Chet. Our
Assessment of Our Teamwork and Task Progress (Strengths and Weaknesses): I believe the group has been working very well with one another in the
past week. We have come to decisions as a group and all offer very valuable
information in the process of establishing a positive work environment. I
mostly see strengths in this group from the first week because everyone has
been on-time and offered positive feedback to the overall group’s
progression. Submitted by:
