Visual Aids in Presentations Training
Program Objectives 1. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to differentiate positive and
negative uses and characteristics of multimedia in presentations, such as:
good and bad color schemes, effective and poor transition choices,
appropriate lengths of audio and video components in order to enhance the
presentation and not become the sole part of the speech, and appropriate
layout and amount of text in Power Point, etc... 2. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to describe the purpose of
multimedia in presentations. 3. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to identify the consequences
of poorly used multimedia. 4. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to construct effective
PowerPoint slides by using appropriate layouts, colors and transitions. 5. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to use appropriate color
schemes in PP slides that make viewing text and pictures easy. 6. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to prepare a slide using the
proper balance between text and pictures in PP slides. 7. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to select proper transitions
between slides in PP. 8. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to identify the proper length
of time to be used on audio / video with in a presentation. 9. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to integrate audio / visual
aid to enhance a presentation, instead of using it as a crutch. 10. After
the training program, the trainees will be able to introduce, integrate and
use props as visual aids correctly. |
