Components of a Problem-Solution speech
Problem: First of two divisions of the body of the speech.
Example: To convince an audience to do voluntary recylcling, first establish that a problem exists--that in many communities landfills are completely full and alternative forms of waste disposal are unavailable.
Solution:
Second of two divisions of the body of the speech
Example: Having convinced the audience that a serious problem exists, the speaker then offers a solution (or partial solution)--voluntary recysling
