Danielle Graff-

          Danielle grew up in Rock Island, Illinois with her parents, two brothers, and sister. She went to Alleman High School and graduated with a 3.6 in 2004. She was a member of the Honor Society and a various amount of clubs and sports while she was in high school. She went to Monmouth College where she had a Biology major. She enjoys dancing and reading, and loves watching movies. She has a boyfriend, Tyler, of 2 years and is looking forward to starting a good career and family.

Steven Distin

    Steven P Distin was born in Monmouth, Illinois on January 18th 1986.  He attended Public schools until he entered college.  Since first grade he was active in Boy Scouts and is now an Eagle Scout.  In junior high he joined the Warren County Swim Team as well as the band and football.  He continued in band and football throughout high school.  He focuses academically have been strongly focused on the sciences.  He graduated from Monmouth High School in May of 2004.  He attended Carthage College for the fall semester of 2004.  After one semester at Carthage he Transferred to Monmouth College where he is currently majoring in Biology/Pre-Medicine

Began attending Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin in September of 2004

Sixteen hours for a biology/pre-medicine major

After one semester at Carthage I transferred to Monmouth College in Monmouth Illinois where I am currently enrolled in fifteen hours.  My major remains biology/pre-medicine.

 

Occupational experience: Dick Blick for the summer of 2004 where I filled orders and stocked shelves at their warehouse in Galesburg Illinois.

Periodically for Alpha-Omega computer store in Monmouth Illinois where I do various jobs such as putting up drywall, installing computer     parts and painting the shop.

Awards/Honors:   Deans list for the fall semester at Carthage College.  In January of 2004 I became an Eagle Scout.  For the academic year of 2003-2004 I was on the honor roll at Monmouth High School.  At Monmouth High School I was the Vice President of the class of 2004 and was given the opportunity to speak at my graduation.  In high school I participated in band and was the first chair and section leader for the percussion section.  I also participated in the “WYSE” challenge, which is an academic contest, for which I placed third place in biology in 2003.  Also in 2003, I attended the Science Olympiad at Western Illinois University.  I placed first in genetics and second in the science of fitness.
