Dr. Patricia Draves

Dr. Patricia Draves is the Project Advisor at MC Protein Purfication, Inc.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Mt. Holyoke College.  In pursuit of her doctorate degree in chemistry, Draves attended University of Illinois-Champaign.  She did her post-doctorate work in the School of pharmacology at the University of Texas.  Dr. Draves began her career as a professor at the University of Central Arkansas, where she not only served as professor of chemistry, but was the Dean of Undergraduate Studies.  She just recently joined our staff here at MC Protein Purification.  When Dr. Draves is not working on protein characterization, she is also employed at Monmouth College as a full-time professor of chemistry.  Additionally, She is currently interested in the field of chemotherapy and cancer.  When she is not in the laboratory or the classroom, Patricia can be found quality time with her husband, daughter, and twin sons.
