Jonathan A. Rider

Jon Rider, born and raised in Kewanee, Illinois.  He is the middle child of a family of five.  His father is a dentist and mother is a homemaker.  In high school, he played golf, football, and baseball.  He was also in key club, marching band, and the school play.  After graduating from Kewanee/Wethersfield H.S.  in 2000, he came to Monmouth College to play football and study biology/chemistry.   He was involved in Alpha Lamda Delta and Tri-Beta.   Classes taken include Zoology, Botany, Cell Biology, Genetics, Organic Chemistry I + II, General (inorganic) Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Biochemistry.   After graduating in the spring of 2004, He  plans on attending dental school in Illinois.  His highest aspiration is to become an oral surgeon.  Someday, he would like to travel the world in his own plane, play golf, scuba dive, and film whales in the oceans.
