My Biography

My Life:

My name is Brittany Ann Hasselberg.  I am from Peoria, Illinois and have lived there all my life.  I have an older sister, who is 23 and lives in Chicago, where she counsels substance abuse patients at a local hospital.  I have a younger brother, who is 19 and a sophomore at Western Illinois University.

Pets:

I have many pets which my parents take care of for me back home.  I have a male dog named Obi Wan Kenobi.  I also have two female rabbits named Bambi and Thumpelina.  I also have numerous fish and mice, all of which I saved from certain death from the Biology lab last semester.  I love all of them, and no one knows me until they know I am an animal lover (and my favorite color is pink).

School:

I am a Senior at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois.  I am a Biology major and a Chemistry minor.  I am involved in a research project in which I am testing Optimal Foraging Theory.  Basically, I am hypothesizing how feeding habits change throughout age in mice.  I hope to go on to graduate school in Biology or attend Dental School.
