LB Media Agar Powder Recipe

 1.     Measure ~800ml H₂O.

2.    Add 10g Bacto-tryptone.

3.     Add 5g yeast extract.

4.     Add 10g NaCl.

5.     Adjust pH to 7.5 with NaOH.

6.     Adjust volume to 1L with dH₂O.

7.    Sterilize by autoclaving- this is done to kill off any bacteria that may contaminate the media.
