How To Be a Bone Marrow Donor
If you are at least 18 years old, you can register with the National Marrow Donor Program.
You must fit certain health requirements.
A blood sample will be taken and tested to find a match.
When a match is found, you will be given a physical examination in order to determine whether or not you are healthy enough to physically handle donating and will give another blood sample to ensure an acceptable donation.
Arrangements will be made to immediately concerning when and where the donation will be made.
