When it comes to ethical questions to steroids there are many of them. One question that I could think of would be are steroids a way of cheating when it comes to sports? I would personally think yes because if you have athlete A who is working out everyday and eating right, he is taking a slower approach compared to the Athlete who is using steroids. Athlete B is using steroids and is working out everyday but his progress happens within at the end of the second week of weight training. In this case both athletes are doing the same things but athlete B is using steroids which are helping him become bigger and stronger than Athlete A. To my self using steroids would be a way of cheating yourself and if you played a sport you would also be cheating them.
Some of the problems that young kids don't think about are the long term affects of steroids. Athlete A would be able to live a more healthier life than Athlete B. When your shooting yourself up or digesting steroids you don't think of the side affects that occur when you are older.
Another problem with steroids is the problem starts at the top. In professional athletics there are some rules but not enough to make an impact. In basketball for example they only test rookies, baseball they test minor leaguers, Football they gave you three chances till they suspend you, and the Olympics they suspend you for two years.
