For this Quiz, have students write a paragraph describing what they did over their weekend using 2 gerunds, 2 participles, 2 infinitives, and at least 2 verbal phrases. After they have written the paragraph make sure they go back and underline and label what words are verbals, and specifically what verbals they are.
