1-Jumping Interjections

Objectives:
TSW state an interjection
while passing the ball to a fellow classmate.
TSW know that an interjection shows expression.
Procedure:
1. Stand students in a circle in an open
space.
2. Start by holding
the ball.
3. Pass the ball to another student, across the circle from you,
while saying an interjections.
4. Continue this until every student has
had a chance.
Examples of interjections include: Great, duh, excellent,
dude, cool, wow, awesome, surprise, yes, no, right, ready, ok, ouch, hooray, ah,
whoops, bravo.

Old magazines
Scissors
Glue
Poster Board or Card Stock (enough for everyone)
Markers
Envelopes

Objectives:
TSW create a poster showing different interjections.
TSW know how to look for specific information when doing a
project.
Procedure:
1. Decide what interjections you want to use. Make a
list on a piece of notebook paper.
2. Look through magazines to find the variety of letters and
fonts needed for your words.
3. When you find the letter cut it out and place it in the
envelope with the correct word on it.
4. When you have found all of your words. Ask teacher for
poster board.
5. Place letters on poster board in the way you want it to
look, no glue yet.
6. When everything is right, you may begin pasting your words
down. Use a small amount of glue, preferably glue sticks.
7. When dry, you may use your markers, or other pictures from
the magazines to decorate your project.

Book gives good information about interjections. It also includes a good amount of words that we did not include on this site.
