Get to know the authors!
Lacy and Becca are elementary education majors at Monmouth College. We are both juniors in college and are involved in a lot of the same activities on campus. We are members of Kappa Delta Pi-the national education fraternity, Order of Omega-the honorary Greek service fraternity, and Alpha Xi Delta-a social sorority.
Lacy is from Kenney, Illinois. I have a younger brother, named Drew. I would like to teach between second and fourth grades. I will be student teaching in the fall of 2002 in the Monmouth School District. I am the Academic Achievement Chair for Alpha Xi Delta. Becca is from Peotone, Illinois. I am the second of four children. When I graduate from college, I would like to teach middle school math somewhere besides the state of Illinois. We put together this web page on
interjections for our Grammar class. We are gearing it towards a 2nd grade
level, but many of the activities can be adapted for different grades.
