Goal:  Inform us without boring us

To include: 

• critical/literary background to your argument,
• clear and concise statement of your thesis,
• sample/example which demonstrates your argument,
• reason why your research matters,
• handouts?

You've all taken COMM 101, if not more advanced communication courses; you all know which professors engage you and which don't; you all understand what it takes to present material with verve and meat.  So apply what you all know for fifteen concerted minutes.  Rehearse the thing.  A lot.  Know your material and hone it so it presents not only your best case, but your best you.  In short, don't be a bumbler or a mumbler...
