Add a Forum Activity
Each Moodle site has a News forum that you can use to post class announcements. You can add additional discussion forums to your site for asynchronous discussions. Instructions for adding a discussion forum are below.
- On the course home page, click Turn editing on.
- In the desired section, click Add an activity or resource.
- Under ACTIVITIES, select Forum.
- In the Forum name field, enter a name for the forum.
- In the Description area, enter introductory
text or instructions for the forum.
- Configure the remaining forum settings.
- Click Save and return to course.
