Create a Category in the Question Bank

NOTE: All of the quiz questions that you create or import are stored in the course's question bank. To help keep the question bank organized (and make questions easier to locate if you want to reuse them in the future), it's recommended that you create categories for the questions in the question bank. (For example, you may want to create categories for each quiz or for each chapter.)

1. On the course home page, click the Actions (gear) icon and select More.
   
   
   
2. Across from Question bank, select Categories.
   
   
3. Under Add category, in the Name field, enter a name for the category.
   
   
4. If desired, in the Category info field, enter a description of the category.
   
5. Click Add category.
