Upload a File for an Assignment
IMPORTANT: To upload a Google Doc file for an assignment, you'll need to download it to your computer in Microsoft Word, RTF, or PDF format first and then upload that file to Moodle. (To download a Google Doc file, open it and then click File - Download As - [select desired format.])
- On the course home page, click the assignment to open it.
- Click Add submission.
- If a submission statement appears at the top of the page, then
read the statement and click the checkbox to accept it. Otherwise,
proceed to the next step.
- Drag the file that you want to upload from your computer and
drop it in the Files area.
- Click Save changes.
Note: After you click Save changes, a submission status page will appear. Depending on how your professor set up the assignment, this page will either have a Submit assignment button under the Edit submission button or it won’t. If you don’t see a Submit assignment button, then you’re finished and may skip the remaining steps in these instructions. If you do see a Submit assignment button, then continue with the instructions below.) - Click Submit assignment.
- Read the submission statement and click the checkbox to accept
it.
- Click Continue.
