- Press Send.
- Press Folder Path Entry.
- Select SMB.
- Press Host Name and then use the keypad to
enter
nts1 (for faculty and staff) or nts2
(for students).
- Press Path and then use the keypad to enter
\home\[your user name] (e.g., \home\jdoe).
- Press Login User Name and use the keypad to
enter your user name.
Note: The user name and password must be the user name and password used to log into the location specified in the Path field. So, for example, if you want to send a scan to someone else’s computer, you'll need to enter to have that person enter his/her user name and password.
- Press Login Password and use the keypad to
enter your password.
- Press Connection Test. The message that appears
should say
Connected. If the message says, “Cannot connect,”
then re-check to make sure all of the information you entered is
correct and press
Connection Test again.
- Press OK.
- Press Start.
Note: To locate the scan on your computer, double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop and then double-click your F: drive.
