Record a Meeting to Your Computer

Note: When you record a meeting to your computer, transcription and audio-only files will not be available like they are when you record to the cloud. Recordings are saved in the Zoom folder on your computer, and, if you want to share the recordings, then you'll need to upload the files to a cloud-based file storage service, such as OneDrive or Google Drive, and create a sharable links to them from there.

  1. Click Record at the bottom of the window and select Record on this Computer.

  2. When you're finished recording, click Stop Recording in the upper-left corner of the window.
