THEA281
Final Exam (25% of grade)
Saturday, October 3
 2 PM in Design Lab

You must clear the concept of your drawing with me before starting.

For the final exam, email me a PDF of the project AND present in class

For an A, your presentation must be well prepared and delivered and your project must contain the following:

A design of an original object or a manufactured object of substantial complexity to have at least 10 parts.

Dimensioned orthographic views of at least three sides of the object (such as front, right, side, etc.)

A complex view of the object using hidden line rendering and or photographic rendering. I suggest an isometric view showing the most complex view of the object.

A complete name plate indicating scale, your name, the date, and any information you think will make the viewing of the design easier to understand.

A border around the drawing to give it a formal appearance

Notes in boxes and/or leader lines explaining any complex ideas to help explain the object or help someone understand how to construct it.

Your presentation will be reduced a half letter grade for each major missing item in the criteria list.

BELOW ARE A COUPLE SAMPLES OF  DRAWINGS THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

IF YOU WANT TO GET ADVENTUROUS, YOU COULD EVEN USE ONE OF THE SIMULATED HAND DRAWING FILTERS

THAT VECTORWORKS CONTAINS.
