Theatre

Students will learn theories, techniques, and processes in all areas of
theatre practice. These areas include:
acting, directing, design, construction, dramaturgy and playwriting.
Students will apply their knowledge of
theories, techniques, and processes in all areas of theatre. practice in
the experiential learning context of production work.
Students will learn the historical
development of world theatre. This study will emphasize:
major aesthetic
periods/movements, cultural contexts, notable figures and major works,
modes of production, and production circumstances.
Students will learn and apply disciplinary research skills.
Students will develop competency in
collaboratively and creatively engaging in artistic praxis.
