CREATIVE DRAMATICS: PROJECTS

More information will be given as we draw closer to the assignment.
Total of 300 pts.

PROJECT ONE:  Individual Project – 15 pts.    GAME CARD LINK

            Two Game Cards in appropriate format and addressing Multiple Intelligences.   Each game card must emphasize the dramatizing of a character.

Game Cards: To give students an opportunity to find, develop and lead creative dramatics exercises, each student will be asked to lead three, 5 minute activities throughout the course of the semester.  Students will develop and hand out a comprehensive Game Card for each member of the class following the presentation of their activity.   Details, requirements, and examples of this project will be discussed at a later date. 

PROJECT TWO: Individual Project  - 15 pts.

            An intentional series of games to build specific skills and addressing Multiple Intelligences.   Each game must emphasize the dramatizing of a character.

PROJECT THREE: Individual Project – 15 pts

            Bring in three books. 1 geared toward 1st grade,  1 geared toward 3rd grade, 1 geared toward 6th .  Adapt one game per book , emphasize the dramatizing of a character.  1 must be multicultural.

PROJECT FOUR: Pairs Project – 20 pts.

            An intentional series of games designed to build specific skills and utilizing a specific story as inspiration.  The games must emphasize the dramatizing of character, situation or location and prove knowledge of Multiple Intelligences.

PROJECT FIVE: Same Pairs as in Project Four – 25 pts.

            An intentional series of games designed to build specific skills and utilizing a specific story as inspiration.  The games must emphasize the dramatizing of character, situation or location, must prove knowledge of Multiple Intelligences and Illinois State Standards.  In two of the activities the teacher must be in role.

PROJECT SIX:  Pairs project – 35 pts.
             The Workshop Project – TIR – Rolling Roll

PROJECT SEVEN: Pairs Project – 75 pts.
           MINI-MOE Project                                                                                                    

PROJECT EIGHT : Individual project – 50 pts.
          
Presentation of Company/Association Information                           

                        Company/Association Card: To give students an opportunity to find and explore the various children’s theater opportunities throughout the country, students will be research websites and create one, five minute presentation on a children’s theatre company of their choosing.
