SATURDAY October 2nd

Target Age – 1st – 4th Grade

10:00 – 11:00 – FREE !!!!!

Lead by Janeve West, assisted by the MC Creative Dramatics Students

Kids between 1st and 4th grade are invited to join us “at the far end of town where the Grickle-grass grows”

to explore the Dr. Seuss classic, The Lorax. Join us as we use our basic acting tools (body, voice and imagination)

to explore the beauty of those Truffula Trees. We’ll put the story under the microscope to discover ways we can

take care of our world.

 

 

SATURDAY November 6TH

Drama Classes

Who’s Line is it Anyway? The improv acting class!

Tuesdays at the BCA from 4:30 – 5:20 Target Age: 1st – 4rd Grade

Ad lib, make it up, improvise it, get silly and learn the basic skills the pros use on this famous TV show. We’ll work developing our

three main acting tools (body, voice and imagination) to create crazy characters in crazy

situations. This class will conclude with an informal sharing of skills developed throughout the session.

 

Invent, Create, Perform!

Tuesdays at the BCA from 5:30 – 6:20 Target Age: 5th – 9th Grade

You create the story, you create the characters and you bring them to life in this page-to-stage acting class.

Students will work on character creation, and improvisation skills to create their own monologues and scenes. This class is great for

students interested in acting or writing stories. Let your creativity guide the way!

 

Classes held Tuesdays, Oct. 5, 19, and 26 and Nov. 2, 9. and 16th. (No Classes Oct 12)

Fees: $35. Early Registration discount (deadline September 22) and BCA Members $30.

Some Scholarships are available.
