Unfortunately when a raft in the back of a pickup truck came free, tommy had offered to get in the bed of the truck to lay on it. once the truck picked up speed the raft caught wind and ejected tommy onto the roadway. life flight arived on the scene immediately following the accident but tommy's head injuries were too severe. He was pronounced dead at 12:42 p.m. monday, june 4, 2012 at oSF saint francis medical center in peoria.
